As J Bri Designs celebrates National Women's History Month, we want to honor each and every woman on the entire planet. International Women's Day is designed to acknowledge us all.

The challenges we continue to face as women have not gone unnoticed and while we have witnessed history being made with our very first Madame Vice President, Kamala Harris, we still have more work to do. The racial injustice, the global pandemic, and gender inequities are reminders of our current reality. Our MVP spoke eloquently as she reminded us that "our world does not yet work for women as it should". Her words echoed vibrantly throughout the European Parliament. 

Yes, Madame Vice President, we will choose to challenge so that we can all prosper on a global scale.

During our S.L.A.Y conversation today, J Bri Designs' CEO and Senior Designer, Debrah Sterling (bottom right), talked with Fashion Ambassadors Terri Matthis (top right) and Cathy Bishop (bottom left) about her experience with disparity and inequality in the fashion industry. The theme in 2020 is Equal for Equal. Debrah has shared that the Fashion Industry has always been male dominated and as designers women have had to work very hard to create an equal opportunity and balance between the two genders.
