Debrah Sterling, Senior Designer of JBri Designs, is a self-taught entrepreneur who started sewing at the early age of thirteen.
She has designed clothing for prestigious fashion shows such as Congressional Black Caucus in Washington D.C., For You Bridal Magazine in Philadelphia, PA, Miss Black USA in Miami, FL and Designers Inc.
Debrah taught Fashion Design at Delaware Valley Charter High School in Philadelphia Pa while helping at Dobbins Vocational School. She works together with the designing department, where she volunteers time with sewing classes and encourages the students. Her fabrics of choice are those that flow softly and compliment a womans figure such as silk, georgette and rayon. Debrah sits apart in a crowd of designers as she takes every initiative to make such each garment is original and can be tailered to flatter EVERY woman.
Debrah believes that silk flows very softly and elegantly. Georgette has a soft but yet firm texture that adds elegance to any fabric. She likes the versatility of rayon because it comes in different textures, and the usage of the fabric is endless.
J-Bri Designs is located in Philadelphia, Pa and carries a collection of Prom, Evening, Bridal and Active Wear from sizes 2 to 22.
